Training for Trusts or Legal Professionals needing training on Case Management

 

  • Understanding the complex process and administration requirements for your physically/mentally and/or psychologically impaired (special-needs) Clients.
  • Understanding the medical jargon and Medico-legal Reports related to your Client.
  • Assisting with a Client Centred Plan.
  • Developing interpersonal and mediation skills to deal with special-needs Clients.

For patients in need of support we will:

 

  • Supply counselling to cope with the emotional and physical challenges you are experiencing living with your disability.
  • Mediate between yourself, your family members and the Trust.
  • Supply Support Groups for yourself.
  • Supply appropriate training with regards to using special equipment, for example wheelchairs.
  • Guidance in basic home and vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
  • Supporting and managing the social dynamics associated with the large number of people who will be interacting with you, for instance: Caregivers, Medical Professionals, Teachers, Therapists and Employers and Employees.

For family members needing support we will:

  • Supply counselling to cope with the emotional and physical challenges you are experiencing living with a disabled family member.
  • Mediate between yourselves, your disabled family member and the Trust.
  • Evaluate fatigue or burnout and supply appropriate referrals to ensure that you are able to care and support your disabled family member.
  • Supply Support Groups for you as a family member.
  • Supply appropriate training with regards to using special equipment, for example wheelchairs.
  • Provide guidance in basic home and vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
  • Support and manage the social dynamics associated with the large number of people who will be interacting with your disabled family member, for instance: Caregivers, Medical Professionals, Teachers, Therapists, Employers and Employees.
